MUNICIPAL OFFICES TO BE VOTED ON IN THE 2021 PARK CITY MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION Park City will elect a mayor and two city council members during the 2021 Municipal Election, which will be held November 2, 2021. Pursuant to State Law, a Primary Election must be held on August 10, 2021, if more than twice the number of candidates file than are to be elected. The mayor and each council member will serve a term of four (4) years. Qualified individuals may complete a Declaration of Candidacy at the City Recorder's office at the Park City Hall, 445 Marsac Avenue, Park City, between June 1, 2021 and June 7, 2021. Office hours are weekdays between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Qualifications to be a candidate are: 1. Be a United States Citizen at the time of filing. 2. Be a registered voter. 3. Be at least 18 years old by the election. 4. Be a legal resident of Park City or a resident of a recently annexed area for at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election. 5. In accordance with Utah Constitution Article IV, Section 6, any mentally incompetent person, any person convicted of a felony, or any person convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise may not hold office in this state until their right to hold elective office is restored. 6. Pay the filing fee of $100 for Council or $150 for Mayor; or collect 100 signatures from Park City registered voters. Currently holding the office of mayor is Andy Beerman.
