Customer Service Specialist Job Description

JANS LTD is hiring a full-time career minded Customer Service Specialist in our Kamas office. JANS offers expertise in equipment, apparel, tuning, and guiding for alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, road biking, fly fishing, hiking, and rock climbing. We revel in seeing the smiles on people's faces when they return from a fun day spent outdoors, so we go above and beyond to enhance their experiences.

The customer service specialist is the primary internal contact for our customers and plays a crucial role in customer satisfaction. The customer service team helps our customers by placing orders, responding to inquiries, and engaging with the customer to continue the long-term relationships we have in place. The pay window for this position is $15-$17 hourly, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
-Provide Superior Customer Service
-Assist Customers with questions for JANS LTD products and programs
-Communicate with customers Via Phone, Email and Chat.
-Process phone orders, returns and exchanges
-Follow fraud protocols as set by the accounting dept
-Be the main point of contact for order problems between the stores and the warehouse
-Occasional outbound calls to customers to verify orders and addresses
-Assist the shipping departing with picking, packing, and shipping orders and store transfers
-Cycle counting and inventory control
-Help maintain a clean and organized workspace

Required Skills:
-High School or equivalent
-Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
-Strong computer skills (required)
-Ability to navigate between multiple programs while on a phone call
-Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
-Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced high stress environment
-Strong problem-solving skills
-Detail oriented
--Familiarity with skiing, biking and flyfishing is preferred
-Able to drive a company van preferred but not required. (No more than one moving violation)
