Utah Department of Environmental Quality Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control Notice of Public Comment on Draft Permit Park City Soils Management Facility Class I Landfill Park City Municipal Corporation has submitted a permit application to operate a Class I Landfill in Summit County, Utah. Property for the proposed Park City Soils Management Landfill is owned by Park City Municipal Corporation and is located approximately 2.5 miles northeast of Park City on Highway 248. The proposed landfill will receive potentially contaminated soils generated from construction projects located within the Park City Soil Ordinance Boundary. The permit application has been reviewed by the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control for compliance with the Solid Waste Management Rules and a draft permit has been prepared by the Director of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control. The Director is soliciting comments on the permit application and the draft permit in relation to their compliance with the Solid Waste Management Rules. R315-311-3 of the Utah Administrative Code provides for a public comment period to receive comments on the renewal application and draft permit prior to final action by the Director. The public comment period to receive comments on the draft permit will commence on April 5, 2021 and end on May 4, 2021.
