NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PARK CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION BACKCOUNTRY AND WINTER TRAILS MAINTENANCE (NON-BID) Park City Municipal Corporation ("PCMC" or the "City") requests proposals from qualified organizations or businesses for the maintenance of Park City's public backcountry recreational trails. RFP AVAILABLE: A copy of the RFP will be available November 21, 2020, and can be obtained electronically by emailing Logan Jones, Trails and Open Space Coordinator, at Email Me. Specifications will be available via email request from November 21, 2020, until December 1, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. PROPOALS DUES: By 2:00 p.m. on December 7, 2020 via email to Email Me. PROJECT LOCATION: Park City, Utah PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The scope of the project is to provide general maintenance on the Park City trail system, within City limits and/or located on City-owned designated open space. The maintenance shall include, but is not limited to, trail evaluation and maintenance planning, vegetation clearing, tree pruning, sign/trailhead maintenance, rerouting of trails, closures and regulation, vegetation of eroded areas, winter trail maintenance and grooming, and back-country trail construction consistent with Park City Trails Master Plan and International Mountain Bike Association Standards. The property shall consist of all City-owned open space and all public trail and access easements granted to the City. The term of the project will be from award of contract by City Council until December 31, 2025. Furthermore, the City shall have the right to waive any informality or technicality in proposals received when in the best interest of the City.
